Large numbers of patients suffer from a variety of diseases in the genitourinary system which is composed of kidneys ureters bladder urethra and genital organs. Genitourinary diseases include congenital abnormalities iatrogenic injuries and disorders such as cancer trauma infection and inflammation. These diseases often involve or result in the loss of tissue structure or function.
