Locus app offers to help parents of 6 to 16+-year-old children who
feel that something must be done to help their children but who
cannot name it. They want to help their children but do not know
where to go. We aim to educate inform advice and empower parents to
become self-reliant in assisting with their children's needs. Locus
is designed in collaboration professionals including Paediatric
Occupational Therapists Special Educators Teachers and Educational
Consultants and Psychologists. The information provided is for
guidance for the parents and DOES NOT replace further assessment
and intervention by relevant professionals. It must be an
empowering tool for parents. The activities presented are
suggestions and they are up to the discretion of the parents and
the child who want to participate in it. Please do not force an
action about which a child shows reluctance and feels
distressed.
