YOUCAT has the same proposal as the Catechism of the Catholic Church with language being its biggest difference. Structured in questions and answers the book is divided into four parts. The first What we believe in talks about the Bible Creation faith. The second How we celebrate addresses the various mysteries of the Church the seven sacraments explains the structure of the liturgical year etc. The third Life in Christ presents the virtues the ten commandments – and everything else. related to them - important issues such as abortion human rights and other topics. The last How we should pray explains the importance of prayer why we pray what the rosary is how to pray and so on.
