This App creates a smart Exhibition so it can offer its visitors
physital (physical + digital) services. The installation of beacons
(low cost bluetooth transmitters) inside the fair will enable the
fair organizers to connect directly all the exhibitors with our
App. Then the usage of beacons’ technology combined with the smart
phone of a visitor can allow us to know his exact physical position
inside the fair and provide him with digital content of his
interest (i.e. real-time micro-location marketing of products
recommendation of similar products with those he likes automated
creation of his favorite list of products automated formation of
contacts’ list navigation inside the fair etc.).
The fair and the exhibitors will also get real-time advertisement of their products in social media. For example in a Wine Fair after a visitor tastes a wine he can rate it positively to insert it in his favorite list of wines. In addition he can also share this preference with his friends in social media. At the end of his visit in the fair he will have a concrete list of all the wines he liked without the need to note down exhibitors names wine brands and tastes.
Moreover we will collect valuable information about the visitors. That is our App will allow the fair organisers to analyse the visitors’ behavior by performing data analytics (i.e. which are the most popular exhibitors’ stands what is the main trajectories/routes which are followed by the visitors what are the rush hours the stay time of a visitor in an exhibitor’s stand etc.).
