Tefsîrü'l-Münîr en son yazılan ve en kapsamlı tefsirdir. Her cildinde iki cüzün tefsiri bulunmakta olup bu özellik sadece bu tefsire aittir. Bu eserden yararlanılmasını kolaylaştırması açısından son derece önemli bir yeniliktir.Tefsir günümüz insana hitap eden bir üslûpla kaleme alınmıştır. Âyetler ilk önce konu başlığı verilerek bölümlere ayrılmış ardından i'rab'ı daha sonra sırasıyla araştırmacılar için son derece önemli olan belâgatı yapılmıştır. Sonunda da maddeler halinde âyetlerden çıkan hüküm ve hikmetler sıralanmıştır. Tefsirde kullanılan bütün hadislerin ve rivâyetlerin sıhhat ve zayıflık dereceleri belirtilmiştir. Kur'ân'dan çıkan gündelik hayata yönelik bütün fıkhî hükümler teferruatlı bir şekilde ve fıkıh mezheplerinin görüşleri çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Müfessirin aynı zamanda bir fıkıhçı olması bu tefsiri diğer tefsirlerden ayıran bir başka özelliktir. Müfessir Taberî İbni Kesir Kurtubî Râzî Menar Zemahşerî gibi güvenilir tefsirlerden alıntılar yapmıştır. Bu yönüyle hem rivâyet hem dirâyet tefsiridir.
