Once your sync account is set up or you start to use Calendar app What's Next organizes your schedule and gets advanced alerts.
The alerts notify the user cancelled/delayed/put forward/modified event tomorrow weather change VIP's birthday or anniversary etc.

After setting up VIP in Contacts group tab you can get alerts such as unread SMS messages incoming emails or missed calls in the VIP bar.
