The application has a big database of remotes and if your device is not in the database then with this application you can try to pick up the IR codes using the automatic testing functions.
The application is able to perform a direct search of the IR codes for the NEC protocol.
Most likely you will be able to choose a remote control for a chandelier fan acoustics and other simple devices.
The application is especially useful if your device has been released for a long time.
Please note that for the application to work the device must have an IR transmitter.
