This music player is specifically designed for albums which are
saved as one continuous audio file along with a "cuesheet" file
specifying the track names and their times. The advantage of this
format is that it's exactly like listening to the original CD
preserving every transition between songs. On Windows you can rip
CDs into this format using a program called "Exact Audio Copy".
(The audio files could also be MP3 instead of FLAC if you'd
like.)
I've also included a couple extra features. When you stop listening to an album the app will remember where you left off and resume from there next time you play the album. The "shuffle albums" option chooses something new to listen to whenever an album finishes.
On your home screen this app show up as "Albums".
If your album art doesn't show up make sure it has the same filename as the .cue file but with ".cue" replaced by ".jpg". Alternatively the app will find album art in the same folder with the filename "folder.jpg".
It's open-source: https://bitbucket.org/nkorth/android-cue-player
