Motion Sizer / Description

The MotionSizer App is the complete tool to pattern the mechanical requirements of power trains.

The tool calculates the load requirements for gearboxes as well as motor drive combinations and
proposes adequate servo / drive combinations as well as gearboxes for the different applications.

MotionSizer offers several selectable standard load cases including additional
transmission. All of them are configurable at masses inertia friction ratio etc
to cover the whole mechanical characteristics.

With CAMDiagrams Positioning Editor Simple Motion profiles and Load
profiles four editors are available to describe the movement to be realized per
axis. In addition environmental conditions may impacting the capabilities of
the power unit components are considerable and buffers for the power unit
design can be defined.

MotionSizer supports DC bus sharing to analyse and calculate the effective power supply requirements.

A database with about 13.000 listed products is supported by a powerful product selector to directly find the most suitable devices.

MotionSizer is available as App and PC version. The project files are fully
compatible and ready for a seamless exchanged between both tools.

MotionSizer supports nine languages and is free of charge.
